to device and improve both in theory and practice our maritime knowledge and our industry.
It is therefore a realization in part of these aims and aspirations an ideal compendium and companion for maritime students, marine surveyors, shipbrokers, shipowners, charterers and shipping business executives as well as being an updating of knowledge to all professionally.
The contents are a glossary compilation of most of the terms and lists of  abbreviations of shipping terms and definitions frequently used that one may come across in their maritime business and transactions.
